SHEEPADOODLE

Briar

Briar is our first sheepadoodle, born November 7, 2020 in Idaho. She’s the reason we fell in love with the sheepadoodle breed.

Briar is an F1 Sheepadoodle, a first generation cross between a purebred Old English Sheepdog and a purebred Poodle. She is 54 pounds of love, smarts, and sass. She is extremely intelligent and highly trainable. She is excellent with children and people of all ages. Briar loves tug ropes, playing ball, and showing off her tricks: giving hugs, high fives, and spinning. Briar is as loyal as they come; a valued and loved member of our family.

Briar is fully health tested. She has had one litter with nine puppies (February 2023).

Let’s Talk About Sheepadoodles

Sheepadoodles are a popular breed that are a cross between a Poodle and an Old English Sheepdog. These adorable pups are known for their curly, fluffy coats that are hypoallergenic, making them an excellent choice for those with allergies.

OLD ENGLISH SHEEPDOG

Sage

Sage is our Old English Sheepdog and St. Patrick’s Day pup, born on March 17, 2021. She is 56 pounds of fluff, authentic to the breed, and our gentle giant. She is the most loving and affectionate girl. She is welcoming and friendly to all. She loves to love and be loved. She is calm, even-tempered and mild mannered with a loving demeanor, and a natural desire to please.

Sage is fully health tested and cleared by Wisdom Panel. She had her first litter in September 2023.

BREEDER LOVE

My husband and I met Josh in the park near our home and he invited us to stop in and see the puppies. They were all so sweet and cuddly that I then asked my daughter, already mommy to an amazing Sheep-A-Doodle named Maggie, to join me in visiting them again. I fully expected that she would purchase one of the ‘precious gems’ as a companion for Maggie. Instead I purchased Ruby, now Mollie, and can’t imagine life without her. I have always been a cat person and needed a great deal of hand-holding as a mommy to a new puppy. Deidre is amazing and always had good suggestions. Mollie’s acclimation to our household has been a breeze, largely due to the on-going support provided by Deidre and family. My granddaughter then purchased Mac, also a Sheep-A-Doodle but 6 weeks younger, from another breeder. The difference between the two became quickly apparent. There was absolutely no follow-up from Mac’s breeder. We encountered numerous issues not experienced with Mollie. Deidre took the time to come over, listened to the issues and spent time loving on Mac. We immediately implemented her suggestions and the improvement was nothing short of miraculous. Not one potty incident since and Mac is sleeping in his crate until time for his morning walk. Amazing!! I cannot say enough about Desert Lily Doodles, Deidre, Josh, and their entire family. We now realize that we received a puppy into our home that was well on her way to success due to the diligent care and love provided from the start.
